General Ledger Accountant

What you will do

• Support the Hong Kong G/L leader with month-end closing across 22 legal entities.
• Review consolidation entries, revenue recognition, and movements in accrued and deferred income.
• Oversee business direct costs, including subcontractor fees and direct travel costs, and prepare accrual journals.
• Calculate and post transfer pricing entries and monitor intercompany imbalances and reconciliations.
• Prepare schedules for external audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate with external advisors on statutory accounts and reconciliation to group accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of accounting and audit experience, preferably in a multinational company.
• Strong month-end closing, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
• High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• MBA or professional certification such as CFA or CPA.
• Experience with Navision, Dynamics, BPC, SAP, or ByD.
