Staff Accountant

hirify.global is hiring for an accounting and finance role supporting accurate financial reporting and internal departments.

What you will do

• Monitor accounts receivable, contact customers regarding payments, and resolve issues delaying collections.
• Prepare unpaid-account status reports and track collection progress.
• Review revenue, cost, and other company transactions and ensure accurate recording in financial systems.
• Complete monthly close activities, prepare documented journal entries, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while responding to vendor, employee, and customer inquiries.
• Prepare annual audit documentation and assist with the purchase order process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and their application.
• 0–2 years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance department or public accounting firm.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, plus proficiency with core Microsoft Office applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
