Senior Game Developer (C++)

Location: Remote from Lviv, Ukraine

hirify.global develops and operates the live mobile game Disney Magic Kingdoms, where players build Disney theme parks, complete quests, and receive regularly updated events and content.

What you will do

• Develop game features in C++ according to design specifications, technical requirements, and programming standards.
• Integrate engine systems, gameplay, UI, graphics, animations, and sound.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Optimize and troubleshoot game systems for performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Contribute to game and technical specifications and improve existing technologies.
• Investigate technical issues throughout the development lifecycle while collaborating with developers, artists, designers, and backend engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of practical C++ programming experience on commercial or real-world projects.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and object-oriented programming.
• Solid knowledge of 3D mathematics and practical multithreading experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, optimization, and performance skills.
• Good English reading and writing skills; full CV must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience developing for mobile devices or consoles.
• Professional or personal experience in video games or real-time 3D applications.
• Knowledge of client-server communication and networking technologies.
• Experience with Python, Lua, TypeScript, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
