What you will do
- Support the Chief Pilot in leading and executing daily flight operations.
- Provide operational guidance, mentorship, and leadership continuity for pilots and flight crews.
- Develop, implement, and monitor approved crew training programs and pilot readiness.
- Maintain and improve standard operating procedures, safety initiatives, risk management, and reporting practices.
- Coordinate with scheduling, maintenance, and flight operations stakeholders to ensure reliable aircraft utilization.
- Support audits, inspections, operational records, internal projects, and a professional passenger experience.
Requirements
- Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- At least 4,000 total flight hours, including 2,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command, and four to six years of related aviation experience.
- At least one jet type rating and approved simulator training in the type-rated jet within the previous 12 months.
- Ability to reside within one hour of Rochester International Airport and to travel away from home for extended periods during domestic and international operations.
- Valid U.S. Passport and driver’s license; ability to complete a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
- Knowledge of aviation operations manuals, training manuals, standard operating procedures, check pilot manuals, and civil aviation regulations.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree, associate degree in Aviation Management, or NBAA Certified Aviation Manager certification.
- Gulfstream G280 or GVII type rating.
- International flight experience, IS-BAO or Safety Management System experience, and flight instruction or CFI experience.
