Visual / Web Designer

Location: Based in the Netherlands; fully remote within Europe

Salary: €3,000–€3,700 gross per month for full-time B2B engagement, prorated for part-time arrangements

What you will do

• Design marketing websites, landing pages, and other digital experiences from initial concepts through developer hand-off.
• Define visual languages, design directions, interfaces, visual assets, and high-fidelity desktop and mobile UI.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems, component structures, documentation, and design workflows.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, process flows, site maps, interactive prototypes, and product visuals.
• Translate research, user needs, and data-driven insights into clear, accessible, and usable interface solutions.
• Present concepts and design decisions to researchers, strategists, developers, clients, and senior stakeholders while owning project deliverables.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency, technology, or freelance environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating polished, high-fidelity UI and web design across desktop and mobile.
• Advanced Figma proficiency and the ability to create structured, scalable, collaborative design files.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and strong understanding of typography, color, grids, components, and reusable design patterns.
• Experience applying human-centered design, accessibility, scalability, platform considerations, and storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal English for international collaboration and client-facing presentations, plus strong ownership, independence, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience creating interactive prototypes.
• Animation or motion design skills.
