Location: Onsite at the Centennial, Colorado facility, United States. U.S. citizenship is required because the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
Salary: $120,000β$150,700 annual base salary, with bonus eligibility and company equity.

develops jet propulsion systems using additive manufacturing for unmanned aerial defense and manufactures exclusively in the USA.
What you will do
- Design assembly tooling, fixtures, and mechanical support equipment for turbine engine development and production.
- Own tooling designs from concept through detailed design, drawing release, fabrication, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with manufacturing and assembly teams to troubleshoot build issues and improve process capability, ergonomics, quality, and repeatability.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, tolerance analyses, and technical documentation.
- Lead design reviews and evaluate concepts for manufacturability, structural adequacy, functionality, cost, and ease of use.
- Provide technical support during tooling fabrication, inspection, assembly, qualification, and production implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including tooling, fixture, or mechanical equipment design in aerospace, aviation, defense, or complex manufacturing.
- Experience with 3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, released design documentation, large mechanical assemblies, and dimensional or tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Proficiency in GD&T and ASME Y14 standards, with the ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, interfaces, and technical requirements.
- Ability to independently solve complex design and manufacturing challenges, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, ANSYS, or equivalent structural and stress analysis software.
- Experience designing MGSE, assembly fixtures, lifting or handling equipment, transportation tooling, or hardware integration tooling.
- Experience with turbine engines, propulsion systems, complex aerospace hardware, MBD, PMI, or 3D PDFs.
