TL;DR
Boiler Technician (Hotel Engineering): Maintaining and repairing boilers, mechanical room equipment, plumbing, electrical components, air conditioning systems, and guestroom equipment at a luxury resort with an accent on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and guest service. Focus on operating utility shut-offs, applying Lockout/Tagout procedures, maintaining engineering inventories, and resolving building and equipment issues safely.

What you will do

  • Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and basic repairs on mechanical room, kitchen, guestroom, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot air conditioning, refrigeration, mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and building systems.
  • Perform painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, landscaping repairs, and sprinkler maintenance.
  • Operate equipment and building utility shut-offs, maintain inventories, requisition supplies, and communicate shift activities and problems.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout, safety, security, housekeeping, and guest service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Some experience in general maintenance and interior or exterior surface preparation and painting.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders.
