Senior Manager, Fraud Operations, Investigations & Grey Markets

Location: Hybrid role based in San Diego, California or San Mateo, California

Salary: $165,400–$248,000 USD base pay annually, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a global team responsible for fraud monitoring, investigations, and grey market enforcement across the PlayStation ecosystem.
• Oversee detection and investigation programs covering account compromise, payment fraud, entitlement abuse, reseller activity, and emerging threats.
• Own chargeback operations and dispute management strategies while improving recovery rates, reducing fraud losses, and protecting customer outcomes.
• Develop grey market strategies addressing unauthorized resellers, promotional abuse, and marketplace manipulation.
• Partner with Fraud Strategy, Data Science, Product, Commerce, Customer Experience, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams on scalable controls and prevention strategies.
• Manage operational KPIs, service levels, workforce planning, executive reporting, process improvement, and capability development.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in fraud operations, investigations, trust and safety, chargeback operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience building and scaling fraud operations, investigations, chargeback management, and risk programs in digital commerce, marketplaces, fintech, gaming, or technology.
• Deep knowledge of fraud typologies, account security, payment fraud, chargebacks, disputes, digital commerce abuse, and grey market activity.
• Strong analytical, operational, strategic problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Japanese language skills.
