Quality Control Inspector - 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Inspect manufacturing supplies, labels, in-process materials, and sterile-packed finished products.
• Perform peel testing of sterile product seals and other package testing.
• Follow production travelers, batch records, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Document non-conformances and escalate problems to the Quality Control Supervisor.
• Verify that inspection equipment, machinery, and tools are calibrated according to company policy.
• Maintain the quality control laboratory and work areas while meeting production schedule targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use standard measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height gages, profilometers, indicators, gage blocks, and torque wrenches.
• Strong verbal and written communication, clerical, mathematical, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and meet the physical and visual requirements of the role, including lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Nice to have

• At least one year of quality control inspection experience.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, SOPs, and ISO standards.
