Security & Trust Lead (AI Governance)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $150K–$180K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own enterprise customer security reviews, including infosec questionnaires, SIGs, CAIQs, vendor risk assessments, DPAs, and security addenda.
• Build answer libraries, evidence repositories, and AI-enabled tooling to reduce questionnaire turnaround time and manual effort.
• Develop hirify.global's position on AI risk and regulation, including the EU AI Act, NYC LL144, GDPR, state AI and biometric laws, and bias auditing.
• Lead security and AI governance conversations with enterprise prospects and customers, and create the trust center, security whitepapers, and governance documentation.
• Run SOC 2 compliance and plan future certifications and requirements, including ISO 27001 and ISO 42001; manage auditors, penetration tests, and compliance tooling.
• Partner with Engineering and Product on access management, vendor reviews, vulnerability remediation, incident response, cloud and CI/CD security, and secure design reviews.

Requirements

• Technical, highly organized, and motivated to own information security, compliance, and AI risk.
• Ability to work directly with the CTO, Engineering, Sales, Operations, enterprise customers, and customer security teams.
• Ability to establish a security and trust function as the first dedicated hire rather than inherit an existing program.
• Ability to manage security controls, risk registers, audits, penetration tests, and regulatory requirements.
• Must work on-site in San Francisco.
