Associate Quality Assurance Inspector (Medical Devices)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States — On Site

Salary: $19.00–$22.00 per hour

Medical-device, software, and services provider developing technologies for cardiac, cardiopulmonary, and respiratory care, including wearable defibrillators and heart-failure monitoring systems.

What you will do

• Inspect mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies, including complex components.
• Read parts lists, manufacturing drawings, inspection instructions, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering change notices.
• Use basic measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gages.
• Generate inspection reports and provide technical responses and investigations.
• Follow quality policies and procedures and perform quality-related MRP transactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to one year of related quality assurance experience.
• Ability to obtain a valid IPC-STD-001 or PC-A-610 certification upon hiring.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, and eye-hand-foot coordination.

Nice to have

• Technical associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
