Quality Control Inspector (MedTech)

Location: Memphis, TN, United States; schedule: 3pm–12am CST

What you will do

• Perform first article, final, and key-unit inspections and testing.
• Inspect finished-product labeling and packaging and conduct packaging-line inspections.
• Inspect medical devices and identify non-conforming material.
• Clean and inspect tray systems returned from the field.
• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation and assist with testing-method validation or troubleshooting.
• Apply quality procedures and maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience in a regulated environment preferred.
• Basic proficiency in ASME Y14.5M and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of FDA and state regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet the physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
