Final Quality Control Inspector 1 (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Perform in-process and final inspections of medical device product lines for conformance with specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings.
• Conduct visual inspections and test components and assemblies during production.
• Verify the calibration status of critical equipment and instrumentation.
• Record quality testing information in Device History Records and populate required inspection metrics.
• Initiate Discrepant Material Reports for nonconforming materials and prepare retain samples for storage.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and equipment while following GMP and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in a related position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient English language skills for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proficiency with basic dimensional measuring tools and computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and read specifications, procedures, engineering drawings, and basic blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, multitasking, and communication skills.
