Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security - Dasher (AI Security)

Salary: $193,800–$285,000 USD base salary, plus equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead the technical direction and roadmap for hardening Dasher Security Products.
• Build and ship paved-road proactive security controls directly into Dasher products through a forward-deployed Pod model.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Legal, Security Platform, Data, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure-by-design controls for AI-enabled products.
• Develop application hardening, anti-app-reversing, and payment-security capabilities for the global Dasher ecosystem.
• Execute AI-enabled vulnerability discovery, multi-level harnesses, and automated remediation against sophisticated adversaries.
• Mentor earlier-career engineers and enforce high standards for operational excellence and software engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer at an internet-scale organization, with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Technical leadership in AI Security, Account Security, and Product Security Engineering across business-to-consumer, business-to-business, and business-to-vendor controls.
• Hands-on experience building security controls in an object-oriented language such as Go or Java and meeting business and regulatory requirements.
• Experience designing scalable, AI-enabled security review and threat-modeling processes for large consumer applications handling millions of daily transactions.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, communication, and security incident root-cause analysis skills.
