Frontend Developer (Vue)

Location: Remote. A relocation package to Malta is available, including a flight and two weeks of accommodation.

What you will do

• Design features and build efficient, testable, reusable UI components.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and propose new APIs where needed.
• Solve complex performance, architectural, compatibility, and application issues.
• Maintain and refactor existing features, including legacy code, to improve performance.
• Analyze UX/UI projects and application requirements while tracking requests, issues, progress, and changes.
• Use AI-assisted tools for development, testing, code reviews, and documentation while retaining sound engineering judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable software development role.
• Required experience with Vue and extensive knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5 and modern CSS3, including Flexbox and Grid.
• Hands-on experience with Vite or similar build tools such as Webpack, plus Git.
• Experience resolving cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, iframe interactions, and cross-origin communication.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Unix shell, SEO best practices, and SQL.
• Ability to read and understand PHP code for occasional work with legacy code.
