Kingwood 02 (Hwy 59/Northpark) RX Tech - Pharmacy Tech - Part Time

Location: Onsite in Kingwood, Texas, United States; rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Salary: USD $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process written and third-party prescriptions in RxEVO, verify patient information, and manage adjudication reviews.
• Deliver accurate customer service and resolve exception-station and third-party issues.
• Coordinate screening, flu shot, immunization, and other professional services events.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, invoices, warehouse and DSD orders, deliveries, recalls, and returns to stock.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated prescription equipment and pharmacy applications.
• Assemble and verify prescriptions, handle controlled medications, reconstitute antibiotics, and maintain HIPAA and pharmacy standards compliance.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Kingwood, Texas.
• At least one year of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician; three or more years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Active Texas registration as a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) is required. Certification must be maintained with continuing education and timely recertification.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; minimum age of 18.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy management tasks, RxEVO, pharmacy SOPs, computer systems, prescription calculations, and inventory processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure under stress, and work rotating shifts.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of pharmacy experience.
