Tax Senior Manager (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Manage quarterly tax provision processes for domestic and foreign legal entities under ASC 740.
• Prepare and review effective tax rate calculations, tax balances, return-to-provision analyses, and income tax disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
• Manage federal and state corporate tax returns, estimates, and extensions while coordinating with service providers.
• Review intercompany tax settlement calculations under the tax sharing agreement.
• Develop and document SOX-compliant internal controls and support internal and external audits.
• Identify process improvements and mentor team members responsible for tax workpapers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant or industry experience with strong financial reporting exposure.
• 5+ years of tax provision preparation or review experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required.
• Experience in life insurance, annuities, or financial services preferred.
• Experience with OneSource or CorpTax preferred; CPA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in rapidly changing and scaling environments.
