Tax Director (Fintech)

What you will do

• Collaborate with the tax department and other corporate functions.
• Compile, analyze, and report financial and tax data accurately.
• Act as a liaison with government authorities and auditors, providing required information and maintaining historical records.
• Prepare and submit federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
• Allocate costs according to established procedures and manage budget-versus-actual reporting.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement stronger processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• CPA license required.
• At least 8 years of experience combining Big Four and industry experience.
• Strong tax technical knowledge and experience with ASC 740 and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Research, technical documentation, communication, financial management, planning, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and design, document, and implement process improvements and system controls.
