Software Engineer Solutions - MCP (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Nacka Strand or Malmö, Sweden, or Nijmegen or Leiden, Netherlands. The role requires 40 working hours per week. Relocation and work permit sponsorship are not provided.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable integration solutions using Azure, .NET, C#, APIs, and distributed technologies.
• Build and evolve secure APIs connecting systems, services, partners, and applications.
• Develop MCP capabilities that make APIs and business services accessible to AI applications, agents, and large language models.
• Help shape the integration platform, API strategy, and future AI enablement.
• Collaborate with the integration team, Technology organisation, and wider business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise integrations, application development, Azure-based integration solutions, and complex IT environments.
• Strong technical skills in Azure, .NET, C#, REST APIs, distributed solutions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
• English is required; the role is based in the listed Swedish or Dutch locations with a hybrid work setup.
• No relocation or work permit sponsorship support is provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with BizTalk.
