Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Leuven, Belgium; office-based with occasional work from home available for eligible positions after training.

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and document user requirements for financial systems.
• Design, modify, develop, support, release, and maintain software applications.
• Modernize aging applications and contribute to the growth of the Leuven innovation center.
• Participate in software validation by developing, reviewing, and executing test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Communicate with team members about projects, development tools, and procedures.
• Potentially lead software development projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• At least two years of software development experience.
• Experience with C#, Angular, web services, GraphQL, Git, and relational databases.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, ASP.NET, the software development life cycle, and software release management.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Entity Framework and Azure DevOps.
• Experience modernizing systems for the Azure cloud platform.
