TL;DR
Software Engineer (C#/ASP.NET): Modernizing financial systems and developing custom software applications for clinical research with an accent on requirements analysis, full software lifecycle ownership, and cloud modernization. Focus on designing scalable web applications, validating releases, and migrating aging systems to Azure-based platforms.
Location: Office-based in Leuven, Belgium, with occasional work from home available for eligible positions after training.

What you will do
- Collect, analyze, and document user requirements for financial systems.
- Design, develop, modify, release, and maintain software applications.
- Modernize aging applications and support cloud-based platforms.
- Participate in software validation through test plan and script development, review, and execution.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, development tools, and procedures.
- Potentially lead software development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- At least two years of software development experience.
- Experience with C#, Angular, web services, GraphQL, Git, and relational databases.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and software release management.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Entity Framework and Azure DevOps.
- Experience modernizing systems for Azure or other cloud-based platforms.
