Senior QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote from Spain

What you will do

• Own quality assurance activities across multiple projects and ensure software quality and reliability.
• Participate in design and requirements reviews to improve feature testability and usability.
• Lead testing efforts and develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts.
• Plan and execute database, integration, functional, UI/UX, API, and mobile testing across product areas.
• Analyze test results, recommend process improvements, and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Work in autonomous agile teams with short release cycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience focused on automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, tools, analytical problem-solving, and at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with automation frameworks including Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, or TestNG.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI and strong relational database knowledge.
• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and strong communication skills.
• Very good command of English is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience testing microservices, distributed systems, mobile applications, NoSQL databases, or event stream processing platforms.
