What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable Python test automation frameworks for backend services and data pipelines.
• Perform comprehensive functional, integration, and performance testing of REST/gRPC APIs and data feeds.
• Coordinate and execute production releases to ensure zero-downtime and high quality.
• Optimize the SDLC by automating routine tasks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze system logs and metrics using Grafana and Prometheus to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine user stories and track issues in Jira.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on backend testing and Left-Shift methodologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTest.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for validating data integrity and processing across databases.
• Proficiency in testing REST/gRPC APIs using automation tools, curl, and Postman.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and basic shell scripting.
• Ability to use monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix for system diagnosis.

Nice to have

• Experience in the finance or trading domain.
• Deep background in Data Testing (ETL pipelines, big data validation).
• Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, EC2, CloudWatch).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
