Quality Control Associate (Biotechnology)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States; the posting also lists hirify.global's Corporate Headquarters in Thousand Oaks, California. The role works a 10-hour Saturday–Tuesday shift from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

What you will do

• Perform analytical testing, characterization, sample collection, handling, and data management for GMP operations.
• Execute compendial, non-compendial, and routine laboratory procedures and review data where required.
• Prepare accurate laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Participate in laboratory investigations, audits, housekeeping, and training compliance activities.
• Follow safety guidelines, cGMPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience, an associate degree with 6 months of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work the specified 10-hour Saturday–Tuesday shift.
• Experience in a regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical laboratory environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of microbiological testing such as endotoxin, PCR, growth promotion, media qualification, or sterility testing is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic laboratory systems such as LIMS, LMES, or TrackWise is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication, adaptability, prioritization, and documentation skills are preferred.
