Threat Detection Researcher (Cloud)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Israel without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Drive the full lifecycle of security detections, from threat research and data analysis through production deployment.
• Design behavioral baselines for complex cloud environments and develop high-fidelity detections from diverse signals.
• Expand the detection engine with novel, high-impact telemetry sources.
• Research complex cloud services to uncover novel attack vectors.
• Investigate real-world attacks across cloud environments, identity providers, and infrastructure-as-a-service platforms.
• Hunt and analyze emerging threats and active campaigns targeting the cloud ecosystem.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in security or threat research.
• Experience conducting data-driven research with large-scale telemetry.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and query languages such as KQL and SQL.
• Ability to independently drive complex research projects from concept to delivery.
• Legal right to work in Israel without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Background in incident response, red teaming, or threat hunting.
• Experience building and shipping product security detections.
• Technical blogging, published security research, or conference speaking experience.
• Experience using AI or LLM-driven tools for detection generation and telemetry analysis.
