Reverse Engineer (Cybersecurity): Performing full-scope reverse engineering and vulnerability research across hardware, firmware, software, and networked systems with an accent on vulnerability discovery, tool development, and technical reporting. Focus on analyzing architectures and attack vectors, developing proof-of-concept tools, and documenting findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
Location: Beavercreek, Ohio, United States
Basic compensation: $99,200β$130,000 per year for Beavercreek, Ohio.

What you will do
- Perform full-scope reverse engineering of hardware, firmware, software, and network protocols.
- Analyze system components, architectures, and interactions to assess functionality and security posture.
- Identify vulnerabilities and attack vectors, and support vulnerability research and proof-of-concept development.
- Develop tools and scripts to automate reverse engineering workflows.
- Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and reverse engineering techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and security analysts, mentor junior team members, and prepare technical reports and briefings.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 4β9 years of experience in reverse engineering or vulnerability research.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and embedded software development.
- Proficiency in assembly language or C/C++, with experience using IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja and debugging tools.
- Experience with network protocols, cryptography, and security vulnerabilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience with hardware reverse engineering, firmware analysis, embedded systems, exploit development, autonomous systems, digital signal processing, or communications systems.
- Ability to lead small teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to technical stakeholders.
