Analyst, Cell Culture Development, DS (Mammalian Cell Culture)

Location: Fully site-based at Singapore Tuas; weekend work is required on a rota-based system.

What you will do

• Perform hands-on cell line and upstream process development work for processes suitable for transfer to cGMP manufacturing.
• Run mammalian cell culture studies using ambr15, ambr250, and 10L laboratory-scale bioreactors.
• Support process validation and characterization through laboratory-scale studies.
• Interpret analytical data and define subsequent development steps.
• Collaborate with site and global project teams to deliver project stages on time.
• Prepare reports and communicate technical results through meetings, teleconferences, and written updates.

Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in a relevant science field.
• Practical laboratory experience in cell culture and laboratory-scale bioreactor runs.
• Understanding of recombinant protein expression using mammalian cell culture systems.
• Understanding of cGMP regulations and manufacturing facility constraints.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for weekend work on a rota-based system and for full-time onsite work in Singapore Tuas.

Nice to have

• Experience with mammalian suspension cell culture conditions.
