Construction Project Director (Aerospace)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; work at construction and production sites is required.

What you will do

• Lead the strategy and roadmap for construction and facilities development across aerospace manufacturing and test sites.
• Oversee projects from scoping, budgeting, permitting, design, procurement, and construction through commissioning.
• Manage concurrent projects involving high-bay manufacturing facilities, clean rooms, test stands, laboratories, and specialized aerospace infrastructure.
• Own capital budgets, forecasts, financial controls, ROI evaluations, contractor bidding, negotiations, and contract management.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Test Operations, Supply Chain, EHS, executive leadership, local jurisdictions, and regulatory agencies.
• Identify and mitigate schedule, cost, scope, safety, quality, environmental, and compliance risks.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive construction project management experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 16+ years of total work experience may substitute for the degree.
• 5+ years leading large-scale industrial or manufacturing construction projects.
• Experience delivering capital projects valued at $20M–$200M+.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• For work in U.S. offices, candidates must meet U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, qualifying refugee or asylum status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
