Engineering Project Manager, Radar Hardware

Location: Full-time onsite position based in Menlo Park, California, United States. Occasional travel may be required to support suppliers, integration, or field activities.

Salary: $191,400 base salary, plus bonus, stock options, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive radar hardware projects through design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Translate contract, program, and engineering needs into milestones, deliverables, schedules, owners, and execution plans.
• Maintain integrated schedules and track risks, dependencies, decisions, action items, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Coordinate execution across mechanical engineering, RF and electrical engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and program leadership.
• Support design, manufacturing readiness, build readiness, and other major project reviews.
• Provide leadership reporting and improve project planning, documentation, meeting cadence, and follow-through.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience managing technical projects in hardware, aerospace, defense, robotics, industrial systems, or other complex engineering environments.
• Experience driving hardware projects through design, procurement, build, test, and delivery.
• Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, requirements, design reviews, release processes, manufacturing readiness, integration, and verification.
• Experience managing schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple engineering disciplines and using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. personnel security clearance and required ITAR authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with radar, aerospace, defense, satellite, RF, communications, or other mission-critical hardware projects.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence Community, or Space Force efforts.
• Familiarity with contract deliverables, requirements tracking, contract manufacturers, production builds, and supplier-driven schedules.
• Experience with Arena, NetSuite, Altium, or similar hardware development and production systems.
• Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance, or PMP or equivalent technical project management certification.
