TL;DR
ML Engineer, I - MLOps Framework (Autonomous Vehicles) (Python/PyTorch/MLOps): Supporting and maintaining model development pipelines for automated trucking with an accent on pipeline reliability, debugging, and operational support. Focus on triaging failures across the ML stack, improving MLOps tooling, and moving machine learning models from development into reliable large-scale operation.
Location: Remote - US
Hiring range: $132,400 per year, plus potential bonus and stock options.

What you will do
- Provide on-call MLOps support for model development teams.
- Triage and resolve machine learning pipeline issues.
- Debug model development workflows and identify root causes across the ML stack.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to improve tooling, documentation, and operational processes.
- Communicate technical findings and coordinate issue resolution across model development teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field plus at least one year of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python and foundational experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Familiarity with model training pipelines and MLOps tooling, including CI/CD systems, monitoring, logging, and pipeline orchestration.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including the ability to triage issues under pressure.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work across teams and explain technical issues to different audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience with MCAP, Parquet, PyArrow, Daft, or Pandas for large sensor data processing.
- Experience with Ray, Anyscale, or AWS SageMaker for distributed computing and orchestration.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform.
- Experience with edge deployment, embedded hardware, autonomous driving, or robotics ML workflows.
