Platform Developer (P4) (AI)

Location: Hybrid in the hirify.global Novi, Michigan office at least 3 days per week; travel up to 20% may be required. The role is associated with Novi, Michigan, USA and Sunnyvale, California, USA.

Salary: $125,250–$183,700 per year, with other compensation potentially available depending on the position.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, maintain, and evolve enterprise AI platform components, services, APIs, and integrations.
• Implement reusable platform capabilities based on enterprise architecture standards and reference designs.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment processes for AI workloads.
• Implement MLOps and LLMOps processes for model deployment, monitoring, versioning, lifecycle management, and governance.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, data engineers, security teams, and application developers on governance, access management, compliance, documentation, and technical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience developing and operating cloud-native platforms using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or comparable enterprise cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and production deployment practices.
• Strong understanding of platform security, identity and access management, observability, monitoring, and security-by-design principles.
• Knowledge of data governance, enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and scalable AI and data platform architectures.
• Willingness to work hybrid from the hirify.global Novi, Michigan office at least 3 days per week and travel 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise AI platforms, agent-based systems, retrieval-augmented generation, or generative AI workloads.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, security, or related cloud technologies.
• Experience with vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, model serving platforms, and modern AI development ecosystems.
• Experience working in large global organizations with distributed engineering and operations teams.
