Risk Advisory Intern (Cybersecurity)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site. Travel of at least 25% may be required. What you will do

• Assess and document client operations, business and IT processes, systems, controls, and related improvement opportunities.
• Support enterprise, operational, third-party risk management, compliance, and internal audit projects.
• Assess transactions, processes, systems, and controls for SOX, regulatory compliance, and IT internal audit engagements.
• Collect and analyze data, identify trends, and visualize results using analytics solutions.
• Use analytics, automation, AI, and other technology aids to improve project delivery and client service efficiency.
• Collaborate with project teams and client personnel, manage assigned responsibilities and risks, contribute to business development research, and recommend process and control improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, interpersonal, project-management, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Availability to travel at least 25% and work additional hours as needed.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Interest in pursuing CPA, PMP, CISA, CIA, CISSP, CAMS, CISM, or another relevant professional certification.
• Interest in learning through structured, on-the-job, and self-directed training.
