Director of New Verticals

Location: On-site in New York City or Toronto, with in-person work required 4–5 days per week

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 USD/CAD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the identification, incubation, launch, and scaling of new products and market opportunities.
• Conduct market research, feasibility analyses, and competitive assessments to prioritize opportunities.
• Develop go-to-market strategies covering segmentation, positioning, pricing, and launch execution.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, GTM, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and success metrics for the New Verticals team.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership and ensure accountability for outcomes.

Requirements

• 9–10+ years of experience in product strategy, corporate strategy, consulting, product management, or similar roles in technology or high-growth startups.
• Proven success launching and scaling new products or business lines with measurable results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data and market insights for decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in person at the office 4–5 days per week.
