PS SW Engineer, Java/C++ Developer (Java/C++): Developing and enhancing payment-industry software across the product lifecycle with an accent on architecture, object-oriented design, and product quality. What you will do
- Gather, analyze, and capture client and internal requirements.
- Design, develop, review, enhance, and refactor product software.
- Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle and support product delivery teams.
- Apply architectural and object-oriented design skills to build practical, high-quality solutions.
- Lead small teams when appropriate and collaborate within a Scrum team.
- Perform thorough unit and integration testing to maintain product quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, with strong Java expertise.
- Good knowledge of C/C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with requirements analysis, object-oriented design patterns, and unit and integration testing.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, Maven, Git, and Gradle.
- Experience working in a Scrum team and, preferably, in the payment industry.
- Advanced English is required for everyday communication with the international team. A university degree in Computing, IT, or a related field is expected.

- German language skills.
- Understanding of modern AI concepts, including AI agents, prompt engineering, skills and tool orchestration, and practical generative AI applications.
