TL;DR
Financial Accountant (US GAAP): Managing Corporate Segment close, reconciliations, journal entries, and accounting operations in accordance with US GAAP with an accent on internal controls, cross-functional support, and close process improvement. Focus on analyzing hardware and software licensing arrangements, administering global BlackLine reconciliations, and supporting automation and financial reporting initiatives.

Location: Hybrid role in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at 3rd Emile Zola Street

What you will do

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for the Corporate Segment and deliver accurate financials under US GAAP.
  • Establish and implement close processes and procedures across Corporate functions.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and support Balance Sheet and P&L reviews.
  • Provide accounting support to Finance, HR, Legal, Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Technology, and Procurement.
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting and Technology FP&A on accounting treatment for licensing arrangements and data centers.
  • Improve reconciliation and close operations while contributing to automation, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in General Ledger accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail when interpreting financial data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
