Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack (C#/.NET)

Location: Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote from the Cincinnati, OH or Dallas, TX office. No relocation assistance is offered.

What you will do

• Design, configure, and extend Duck Creek insurance platform capabilities for Policy, Billing, and Claims workflows.
• Configure product models, coverages, underwriting rules, rating factors, forms, and policy lifecycle transactions.
• Develop and optimize business rules for underwriting decisions and pricing calculations.
• Design policy documents and outputs using XML, XSLT, and template-driven form technologies.
• Build API-based integrations with rating services, claims vendors, finance and general ledger systems, document management, and data platforms.
• Implement testing, database operations, peer reviews, mentoring, and release support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience coding with C#, .NET Core, .NET Core Web APIs, Next.js, SQL Server, API development and integration, and application deployment.
• 3+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or extending enterprise platforms, policy administration systems, or comparable COTS platforms.
• Experience with APIs, system-to-system integrations, SQL Server, XML, XSLT, and HTML.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Employment visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with insurance platforms and Duck Creek.
• Exposure to API-first, headless, or modern integration architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud or SaaS delivery models and upgrade-friendly design.
