Software Dev Engineer, Amazon Security Automation (AI/ML Security)

What you will do

• Design and develop AI/ML-driven security automation systems to detect and mitigate threats at scale.
• Build and maintain scalable applications for real-time threat detection and response.
• Develop automated detection systems integrated into hirify.global’s security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security teams to improve security practices, guardrails, and tooling.
• Research and prototype security solutions, evaluating technical feasibility and design approaches.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
• Professional, non-internship software development experience.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and SQS.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
