Security Operations Analyst

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid work arrangements

What you will do

• Monitor security events, alerts, and dashboards across in-scope security platforms.
• Triage and escalate security alerts according to established procedures.
• Support incident response through evidence collection, containment, documentation, and post-mortem analysis.
• Administer and tune security solutions, maintain operational metrics, and assist with control testing.
• Support vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, patch validation, and configuration compliance.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, IAM, and Infrastructure teams while maintaining security documentation.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in information security or information technology.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information security, or equivalent information security system administration experience.
• Exposure to NIST, FFIEC, or similar security frameworks.
• CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
• Basic understanding of Windows, Active Directory, Entra ID, TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Network+ certification.
• CompTIA CySA+ certification.
• Experience with enterprise software, hardware platforms, outsourced systems, and information security policies.
