Lead Automation QA Engineer (AI)

Location: Minsk, with onsite, remote, or hybrid work options. Remote work is possible from any location. Working hours are 11:00–20:00 (GMT+3).

What you will do

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the test automation strategy.
• Lead the development of the Playwright and TypeScript automation framework and establish engineering standards.
• Estimate, prioritize, distribute, and monitor automation work across the AQA team.
• Develop and maintain automated API and end-to-end tests, test data, coverage, and reliability.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and introduce AI-assisted practices for development, debugging, analysis, and maintenance.
• Make technical decisions, collaborate with QA, developers, Product Managers, and customer stakeholders, and mentor AQA engineers.

Requirements

• Lead or Senior AQA experience with technical leadership responsibilities and hands-on engineering.
• Experience building or significantly evolving a test automation process from scratch.
• Strong practical experience with Playwright, TypeScript, test automation architecture, API testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, plus planning, task distribution, code review, and technical decision-making.
• Practical AI fluency is mandatory, including daily use of Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar tools.
• English at B2+ or higher is required for regular communication with the US customer.
