Senior Frontend Developer (React)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must be based in the UK

hirify.global is a UK-based insurance SaaS platform for launching, managing, and growing traditional and specialist insurance products.

What you will do

• Develop new and existing frontend features and interfaces that improve user experience.
• Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future product development.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality React and TypeScript code.
• Optimise components, page speed, and scalability across web-capable devices and browsers.
• Translate user and business needs into functional frontend solutions while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with backend and QA engineers, UX designers, product and engineering managers, and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• UK-based to support tax and data compliance requirements.
• At least 6 years of frontend development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with React.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience using modern frontend tools.
• Understanding of key design principles, strong problem-solving ability, and experience with agile development.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an open and collaborative approach to feedback.

Hiring process

• Initial 30–60 minute cultural interview with the potential manager and Principal of Frontend.
• Short take-home technical test followed by a collaborative technical interview.
• Final one-hour technical interview focused on frontend expertise and technical problem-solving.
