Executive Medical Director, Italy (Medical Affairs): Leading Incyte’s Italian Medical Affairs organization across Oncology, Hematology and Immunology with an accent on medical strategy, clinical research collaboration, scientific communications, and organizational leadership. Focus on building and developing medical teams, coordinating local execution of international plans, supporting clinical studies and investigator-initiated research, and representing Italy in European Medical Affairs initiatives.

Salary: €160,000–€190,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead the Italian Medical Affairs organization across Oncology, Hematology and Inflammatory and Autoimmune diseases.
- Define and execute local and international medical strategies, integrated medical plans and related budgets.
- Review and approve medical and promotional materials, drug information, publications, educational grants and other Medical Affairs content.
- Support advisory boards, investigator meetings, clinical study site selection, participant recruitment and investigator-initiated research.
- Build relationships with thought leaders and investigators while collaborating with Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs and Research & Development.
- Represent Italy in the European Medical Affairs Leadership Team and relevant pharmaceutical and research associations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Hematology and Oncology experience is required.
- MD preferred, or PhD with significant academic, clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design, biostatistics, medical writing, product safety, regulatory affairs and medical requirements.
- Strong leadership, people management, communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and in a matrix environment.
- Willingness to travel 15–20%.

- Knowledge of Inflammatory and Autoimmune diseases.
- Experience working with diverse backgrounds and fostering inclusive, collaborative teams.
