Credit Risk Administrator (Fintech)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid work from Monday to Friday, 10:00–19:00; office attendance may be required during probation. The team also works on national holidays.

Base salary: €26,400–€39,600 per year.

What you will do

• Manage insolvent merchant cases end-to-end across jurisdictions, currently mainly the UK, France, and Spain.
• Coordinate administrators, insolvency practitioners, legal, finance, credit control, and customer-facing teams.
• Collect and submit proof-of-debt documents, claim forms, creditor correspondence, and other required materials.
• Track fund collection and release, reconcile invoices, and maintain accurate case and recovery records.
• Support novation processes, prepare exposure reporting, and flag write-off recommendations.
• Manage Zendesk tickets and alerts related to inactive companies, insolvencies, administrations, and other corporate events.

Requirements

• Interest in credit risk, insolvency, or financial operations gained through study, work experience, or a related role.
• Confidence communicating directly with administrators and insolvency practitioners.
• Strong coordination skills for managing multiple internal stakeholders and cases.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail, written communication, and verbal communication.
• Proactive and self-sufficient approach to workload management.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Lisbon and during national holidays.
