Client & Custody Services Trainee (Fintech)

hirify.global operates pan-European market infrastructure and regulated exchanges connecting European economies to global capital markets. The role is based in the Securities Team at Interbolsa, hirify.global's Portuguese Central Securities Depository.

What you will do

• Support daily business operations related to physical securities and their safekeeping.
• Manage and control securities registered in the Centralized Securities System.
• Prepare and update operational handbooks and provide information to issuers and financial intermediaries.
• Test updates and improvements to IT systems supporting physical securities services.
• Support shareholder identification, filiation processes, securities issue reconciliation, and project implementation.
• Monitor reconciliation measures, account balance verification procedures, inspection visits, and emissions control files.

Requirements

• Knowledge of capital markets and applicable legislation.
• English proficiency required for oral and written communication.
• Familiarity with standard office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Responsibility, accuracy, organizational capacity, communication skills, teamwork, and task orientation.
• University degree in Management, Economics, or an equivalent field is preferred.
