Intern QA Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript)

hirify.global is a music game company developing and publishing hybrid-casual music games and internal platforms for creative production, user acquisition, and system operations.

What you will do

• Read user stories, Definitions of Done, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Design test scenarios and cases covering happy paths, edge cases, negative cases, and error handling.
• Execute manual test cases with guidance from QA Engineers and track defects in Jira.
• Retest fixes and collaborate with Developers and Product Owners during bug triage and release verification.
• Help maintain automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript, including API automation, test data, fixtures, page objects, and GitLab CI/CD execution.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Available to work full-time for 3–6 months.
• Basic understanding of SDLC, software testing, test cases, bug lifecycles, and defect reporting.
• Basic understanding of web applications, HTTP/API, JSON, and data validation.
• Ability to read technical documentation in English and communicate in a team environment.
• Logical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, proactivity, and openness to feedback.

Nice to have

• Exposure to or interest in Playwright, TypeScript, Postman, SQL, Git, GitLab, or Jira.
• Personal projects, coursework, or hands-on experience in manual testing, API testing, or test automation.
• Interest in testing images, videos, and playable HTML5 assets.
