Location: On-site in Hawaii, United States; minimal travel of 0–20%; standard working hours.
Salary: $155,000–$175,000 per year, with potential additional compensation including bonuses and relocation benefits.

What you will do
- Support Concept Exploration, Course of Action Analysis, and Operational Planning for the Department of War, USPACOM, and key stakeholders.
- Apply expert knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process to planning and analysis efforts.
- Evaluate joint and multi-domain military capabilities, BMC2 concepts, and the execution of kill chains and kill webs.
- Collect, analyze, and curate authoritative doctrine, planning materials, and capability information in a knowledge management environment.
- Translate doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures into actionable inputs for modeling, behavior, and simulation software development.
- Provide Blue Force expertise and deliver written, visual, and analytical products for senior decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of operational military experience.
- Direct experience developing concepts of operation and courses of action for Joint or Service Component Operational Planning.
- U.S. military Joint Qualified Officer designation.
- Experience collaborating in small, high-performance, multidisciplinary teams.
- TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 16+ years of operational military experience.
- Combatant command or service component command planning experience.
- Experience with military operational studies, exercises, or wargames.
- At least two years of experience with model-based systems engineering techniques and tools.
