Social Content Designer and Editor (Part-time)

Location: Chicago, IL; remote option available

Pay: $55–65/hour on W2

What you will do

• Design social-first templates and creative assets for Instagram Stories, Reels, and in-feed content.
• Capture and edit photo and video content optimized for social media.
• Produce high-quality, narrative-driven video edits aligned with the brand’s tone and aesthetic.
• Collaborate with social and creative teams to develop, storyboard, and refine content concepts.
• Experiment with emerging trends, motion design, and animation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of social media editing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator; Premiere Pro and After Effects are preferred.
• Comfort shooting and editing short-form content.
• Strong visual composition, typography, color, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with animation or motion graphics.
• Agency experience.
