What you will do

• Turn product demonstration footage into attention-grabbing social videos for TikTok, Reels, YouTube, paid media, retailer sites, and company channels.
• Create multiple hooks, story structures, lengths, and aspect ratios from a single shoot.
• Build concise narratives around problem, tension, proof, and payoff while protecting the key product demonstration.
• Use sound design, motion, typography, captions, pacing, rhythm, and music to support viewer retention.
• Track trends and recommend formats to pursue or skip based on current platform behavior.
• Analyze retention curves, test hooks, and recut or repost underperforming videos.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience editing social video for a brand, agency, creator, or personal channel.
• A reel or three cuts demonstrating the ability to hold viewer attention, with an explanation of why the videos performed well.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro or Resolve and After Effects.
• Ability to work quickly from footage to options and live edits, while maintaining organized projects and consistent quality.
• Producer instincts, independent creative judgment, and the ability to identify and defend a story in the footage.
• Strong understanding of what makes viewers stop, save, and share content.
