Production Manager, EMV®

Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States; production work in a light industrial setting

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus

What you will do

• Lead daily EMV® production operations to achieve output, quality, delivery, safety, scrap, efficiency, throughput, and cost targets.
• Execute production schedules, align manufacturing with customer requirements, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Implement Lean manufacturing, standard work, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process optimization to reduce scrap and rework.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve equipment uptime, resolve issues, and support product and process changes.
• Manage the departmental budget and provide monthly performance and P&L insights to leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff through training, cross-training, and skills development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least five years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience.
• Experience with operational controls, manufacturing processes, logistics, safety, and quality systems.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and GMP principles.
• Strong analytical, statistical reasoning, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; willingness to work in a light industrial environment, occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, and travel internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience in plastic card, EMV®, or secure card manufacturing.
