Sustaining Engineer II (Medical Devices)

Location: Fridley, Minnesota, United States; onsite at least 5 days per week. Candidates outside a reasonable commuting distance must be willing to relocate.

Salary: $81,600–$122,400 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, production layouts, and operation sequences for cardiovascular combination products.
• Support a production line with a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce production scrap and improve process efficiency.
• Investigate and disposition nonconforming products and initiate corrective actions.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify performance and support product quality.
• Maintain manufacturing processes using statistical process control and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with no minimum experience requirement.
• Must be located within reasonable commuting distance of Fridley, Minnesota, or be willing to relocate.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Degrees earned outside the United States must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice to have

• Operations or manufacturing experience focused on improving existing processes.
• Experience with DMAIC or similar problem-solving methodologies and leading problem-solving teams.
• Experience communicating findings to leadership.
• Experience with statistical software such as JMP or Minitab.
