QA Manager (Mobile Apps)

Location: Malta; hybrid working model with options to work remotely from abroad.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years focused on mobile testing.
• Hands-on experience testing iOS and Android applications and following platform guidelines.
• Strong experience with Appium and Java for automated testing.
• Experience with REST API testing, backend integration flows, and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Bitrise.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Clear communication in English is required.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA training.
• Experience in iGaming or other fast-paced, high-scale environments.

What you will do

• Perform manual and automated testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and maintain Appium and Java automation tests and mobile test frameworks.
• Define and refine test strategies for new functionality and release cycles.
• Investigate, reproduce, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Validate app interactions with backend services through REST APIs.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product owners, and QA engineers in Agile ceremonies and continuous process improvement.
