Mid QA Automation Engineer

Location: Athens, Greece; hybrid work model with two days working from home

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests and the test automation framework for web and mobile applications.
• Design and execute automated test cases covering functionality, reliability, usability, and performance.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Prepare test environments, test data, and infrastructure for automated testing.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define testing requirements and improve test coverage.
• Investigate test failures and defects, identify root causes, and support effective resolution while maintaining test plans and reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Experience with Selenium or JavaScript-based web automation tools.
• Experience with API testing and automation using Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of test automation methodologies, software testing best practices, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, SQL, and JavaScript or Python.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and the ability to investigate complex issues and identify root causes. Applicants must be eligible or legally authorized to work in Greece.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
